This week was such an amazing one as I had the pleasure to attend a number of US Open activities! During this time of year, NY is focused on the last Grand Slam on the season! Lavazza invited me to their suite to watch the Mixed Doubles Matches! Being able to see so many of my faves on the same day playing tennis -

Caty McNally/Lorenzo Musetti defeated Naomi Osaka/Gael Monfils.
Iga Swiatek/Casper Ruud defeated Madison Keys/Frances Tiafoe.
Ben Shelton/Taylor Townsend defeated Amanda Anisimova/Holger Rune.
Jessica Pegula/Jack Draper defeated Carlos Alcaraz/Emma Raducanu.
Mirra Andreeva/Daniil Medvedev defeated Olga Danilovic/Novak Djokovic.
Danielle Collins/Christian Harrison defeated Belinda Bencic/Alexander Zverev.
Karolina Muchova/Andrey Rublev defeated Reilly Opelka/Venus Williams.

As we enjoyed a day at Arthur Ashe Stadium, we first received a tour of all the places that people could enjoy Lavazza from getting their favorite iced/hot coffee to even kicking back with an Espresso Martini! After touring the grounds and seeing the activations, we were led up to our suite to take in the matches! We also got to hear from Daniele Foti, the brand’s VP of Marketing at Lavazza North America to find out about upcoming plans and where we can see them. You can find out more about that via Athleisure Mag’s OCT ISSUE #118. I also enjoyed seeing Sloane Stephens on the court who I have had the pleasure of interviewing her off and on and who was our DEC ISSUE #84.

This year, I was also invited to WTA Clubhouse X Gillette Venus courtesy of the razor brand. It was great to hear the panel that included Taylor Townsend (WTA world No. 1 in doubles, 8X WTA Tour Titles, 2024 Wimbledon Doubles Champion, 2025 Australian Open Doubles Champion), Tunde Oyeneyin (Peleton instructor, Nike athlete, and NY Times Best Selling Author), and Nana Agyemang (CEO of Every Stylish Girl) as they talked about the importance of confidence and navigating their careers that was moderated by The Cut’s Tefi Pessoa. It was also great to check out their treats in their cafe and shop their marketplace.

I also attended evian’s dinner at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt which was a sit down 4-course dinner hosted by Frances Tiafoe (along with his family and friends) and Chef Daniel Boulud together with the official water sponsor of the US Open. The meal that was prepared for us is also available as a limited edition at the evian Club. This event was lovely from the appetizers, array of cocktails/mocktails, the views and the fact that each place setting had glass evian bottles along with our names monogrammed as well was so nice!
