SK STREAMING | S8 E. 22-27 LOVE ISLAND USA

This week’s Aftersun will fill in a number of blanks as we get into the nitty gritty coming off the conclusion of Casa Amor! Ciara Miller and Tefi! will talk with those that were dumped from the experience as well as showing the footage of what it was like when the men were selecting whether they would go back coupled or solo!
They talk about how the producers had some tricks up their sleeves with the recoupling that took place after Casa. Ciara shares that she really felt for Trinity when she talked about dating interracially and that whether you are doing that are dating somone across cultures there is a lot that goes on in your head about that. I also felt for Trinity in those moments as it’s her first time as well as doing it on air.
We hear the original men sharing their selections. Most of them seem expected; however, hearing Sincere say that if he had had more time, it would have been Amora! Why does he always make people feel like they are so close to connecting with her.
Amora and Sydney are on set talking about their experience in Casa. They say that Sincere is a people pleaser and he makes you feel a certain kind of way. Sydney wishes that Bryce gave more of himself during Casa, but she appreciates that he was always up front about how he felt about Trinity.
E23 kicks off after the recoupling! Aniya says she wants to go home and the girls tell her that she shouldn’t do that. The Casa girls are laughing at what happened and Melanie tries to calm her down. Melanie gives the best pep talks as she tells her that KC is a Buildabear and does she want to have to build a man together? Aniya is going through it and it will be interesting to see how the Casa girls will integrate with the other women there. They did chat with Parmida letting her know that she was welcome but they just needed a moment. Aniya opts to sleep in Soul Ties where she is still crying. TT apologizes to Melanie and she says that it’s not about her, it’s about KC. Melanie says that she needs to apologize to Trinity and the two of them talk. TT says that she shouldn’t have called her a littlle girl and they both realize that the issue is what KC did.
Corbin asks what went down at the Villa from the Casa guys that were there and that’s when he finds out that Carl and Aniya were close. He says what I was thinking - if she was giving him kisses every morning, then she should have continued to explore with him and picked him! While Corbin finds out what went down, TT tells Melanie that Sincere was doing a lot of cuddling and kissing so Sincere is back in the dog house again! She talks with Melanie and yet again she says that she doesn’t trust Sincere. Now TT and Aniya chat with one another and she says that she doesn’t have beef with her her issue is with KC. Corbin now tells what happened between Carl and Aniya to KC and Sincere.
A text arrives and they hear that there will be a Shake Your Cakes Boys vs Girls. Of course it’s Megan the Stallione who walks in! She comes up to the girls room and says hello - she has been a long time fan of this show so it’s not a surprise that she is back. Kenzie just did a split in front of her and Megan approved! The love that Megan gives to the women is amazing and then she has something nice to say to everyone. She even gives them kudos for how the women come together. Then she goes over to the guys side! Bryce gives her the tour of the boy’s quarters. She gifts the men and women pieces from her Hot Girl Swimwear line. The challenge will take place at the Hot Girl Bakery with a Hot Girl Musical chairs that allows them to dance while finding a cake for their cakes to be the winner. TT wins this. Having Meg moderate this challenge is definitely a great mix. Now it’s the guys turn. Meg’s side eyes to KC and Corbin are next level. KC won the round. She gets to give points to who she wants and of course, she gave it to the girls!
The next challenge allows the guys to get grievances off their face by giving the girls cake to the face. The girls also get the opportunity to seek revenge. Meg says that she feels that some of the guys did pull their girls down to lift other girls up and that wasn’t right. Meg is always going to stand on what she believes in. The girls don’t have cakes to throw they have oversized frosting bags! The girls go after the guys and some of the girls do it in the name of a friend who was wronged. When the guys try to duck Meg tells them necks out, chests out! It was defintiely a sweet revenge challenge. Meg chooses 1 hot girl baker and 2 hot boy baker to go head to head - she chooses Kenzie and Zach. They kneel in front of their own cakes and they have to find the prize only using their mouths to get to it. Zach finds the gift and reads “Revenge is Sweet”. She tells them that America was able to vote for their favorite boy and girl from Casa Amor that didn’t get chosen and they are able to return - enter Carl and Amora. Will Carl and Aniya come back together and what will happen with Sincere now that Amora is in the Villa?
E24 the Villa is settling in now that Amora and Carl are back. We get to hear about their perspectives about Cava as well as how they are going to move now that they are all there. Carl joins the ladies to say hi and then pulls Aniya for a chat. He tells her that he wants to keep talking with her to explore the connection, but his walls are up a bit as well because of what happened - but he just needs time. The way KC continues to speak negatively on Aniya is so unnecessary. Tierra pulls Amara to the side and says that she needs to talk with Melanie about what actually happened in the Villa so that she is clear on what happened.
Amora asks Sincere to talk and he keeps calling her Big Dawg to put her in a friend zone. Sincere talks with Melanie and he says that he is her safe space - she tells him that he is not. She lets him know that she is going to step back and see what he does because she doesn’t feel like she is truly being selected.
Trinity and Bryce get to go on a date outside of the Villa and they talk about their experiences and their families. Bryce asks would she like to be his girlfriend and they are now official.
Parmida and Corbin chat and he lets her know that he has to talk with Kenzie and Parmida says that he doesn’t have to respond, but she is closed off and ready to be with him. He seems to like that response. but we have all seen how Corbin is when there are other women in the house. Corbin apologizes to Kenzie about how he treated her. He asks Kenzie to explain why she feels the way that she does.
The house is so excited that Bryce and Trinity are boyfriend/girlfriend. Trinity yells out that she took Zach’s man as we all know that the biggest bromance in thr house is Bryce and Zach.
Everyone is getting ready for a great night. KC and Aniya talk and they wish one another the best and Aniya lets him know that she would be doing herself a disservice if she was even friends with him. She even shoots down KC’s offer to have one last hug. Kenzie continues to enjoy her love triangles and although her and Gal have not spoken to one another for awhile, she pulls him and Dylan sees it. Gal lets her know that he and Jen are no longer together. Kenzie says she loves Jen but if she feels a spark, she is going to explore it. She makes out with Gal and they are gone for quite some time.
E25 continues with the KC and Aniya drama which at this point needs to move on. TT will have to navigate what it is like being with him. It’s good to see Carl and Aniya vibing and hopefully they work out as they seem like such a great fit.
Dylan is upset after talking with Kenzie when he learns that she had a good chat and made out with Gal. He felt that they had had good conversations about what they would do for a date and outside of the Villa. Kenzie feels that what she did wasn’t bad because they are not closed off. Zach and Kayda gave him more comfort and acknowledged his feelings then Kenzie did.
Gal and Carl chatted with one another and Gal recognizes that Kenzie likes the idea of having multiple triangles and he is not interested in that. He thinks he may go for Amora. Ian’s voiceovers are savage as always when it comes to moving the storylines along. Kayda tells Jen that Kenzie kissed Gal and Jen says that she’s annoyed that she has to be the last to know these things. She also calls out that Kenzie is not cute that she has to always be the center of attention
Kenzie and Jen chat and of course Kenzie says she is sorry and loves her but she is just exploring connections. Jen is very clear that it’s not the exploring it’s how she doesn’t say what goes on until after everyone else in the house knows. Kenzie tells Dylan about her conversation with Jen and tries to get sympathy from him! He acknowledges that he gets she has to explore but making out wasn’t what he thought would happen. He asks her point blank if she is interested in him and she says yes and that she doesn’t need to explore anymore. Gal chats with Amaro and they seem to hit it off well.
The text comes letting them know that Movie Night is happening. KC knows that he’s going to get in trouble and Zach tries to tell Kayda that he may have said some things and Kayda gets annoyed because she feels that there should be nothing new coming out since he told her “everything.”
The first Movie Night film is Zach’s time at Casa with Alannah (which no one is saying that she left the show prior to him choosing to decide to come back solo). We also see Kayda’s reaction from the mail while the boys were there. The next movie night is KC’s feature and it’s going to be a doozy. We see all of his greatest hits and we see what part Sincere played in it and then Kayda clocks that Alannah wasn’t there when it came time to decide who the guys were leaving Casa - one of the Casa girls explains that she left after the 2nd night. Kayda wonders would she have been chosen if Alannah had stayed the whole time? The girls say that all the guys supported the fact that KC just stayed with her so he could be at the house longer. TT also says that each of the guys came to her saying that KC has never been this happy before and she tells them to stop acting like they are shocked. Kayda then tells Zach why is she just realizing now that Alannah had been kicked out early.
Sincere’s the next film and they go all the way back to him and Sol! Melanie sees everything that happened who asked or didn’t ask for kisses and her running out of Soul Ties. The film even shares what he said to the guys when they asked about it. Watching the duplicitous behavior of Sincere between Sol and Melanie is next level. He literally played both women. Even the guys are like “this is awful.” Movie night continues on Thurs night since Wed’s there aren’t new episodes.
E26 we continue Movie Night and the past continues to reveal itself! Kenzie’s movie that shares the triangle between her, Corbin, and Caleb is shown and she looks bad - even the girls can’t defend it. We also see Dylan looking thinking about the triangle he is in with Gal. Dylan says watching it reminds him of what he went through last night. He said he didn’t like that she kissed Gal and she doesn’t even have a connection with him! Kenzie says that she is just being her, she’s trying to grow her connection and she feels that kisses are like handshakes to see what the chemistry is. She even says she feels really good about Dylan.
Now that Movie Night is done everyone is debriefing. Amiya apologizes for getting in KC’s face as she states that she wouldn’t want that and he agrees that he should not have done it. The girls tell Kenzie that she’s moving strange and they like that she accepted the fact that she shouldn’t have done it. Kayda and Zach are now debriefing as she is hurt.
The next evening, Sincere chats with Melanie and she says that he doesn’t deserve her and that he made his bed and needs to lay in it. She also says that his speeches mean nothing as there is no action behind his words. He says he is going to do everything in his power to show her.
E27 it’s been quite a week and we’re closing it with tonight’s episode! Tonight there will be a recoupling with the guys making the selections, a dumping, and America will also have their say.
The Islanders spend their time talking with one another, ironing out issues, and making connections stronger. As they get ready for the big night, the girls are nervous since their fate is in the guy’s hands. Ariana arrives and asks for the girls to stand with her so that the recoupling can begin.
As expected, Bryce and Trinity are coupled up. Zach couples up with Kayda. Corbin and Parmida are also coupled. Dylan selects Kenzie. Carl chooses Aniya which is good to see them continuing on. KC and TT are still together. Sincere has a great speech and selects Melanie but he still has a long road with her. Caleb picks Jaiden and says that there bumps are strengthening their relationship. Gal is down to selecting between Amora and Jen. Gal ultimately selects Amora and Jen is single and vulnerable. Ariana says that not only is she being dumped, but she will be joined by 4 more Islanders! Each couple has to select which 2 couples that they feel is the least compatible. They will have to share their opinions in public so that everyone hears. Ariana says that they have lived together and they know what they see, but that this isn’t about friendships. They have time to talk about it in their couples.
Amora and Gal had the most votes and the 2nd most is Jaiden and Caleb. They will join Jen as those that have been eliminated from the Villa.
