SK STUDIO OUT + ABOUT | NAVIGATING A HEATWAVE

Today it was 100+ degrees and I felt every bit of it! I started the day grabbing an Ube Matcha at Cha Cha Matcha as I wanted to feel nourished and hydrated before I hopped on the subway to head to Harlem as we have an amazing event that will take place during the US Open and of course, it’s tennis focused for our Athleisure Mag Summit Series. I had a lovely time touring this venue as I had been there earlier this year for a NYFW event and think it will be amazing for our event taking place during Fan Week.

Heading back downtown, I had a number of other meetings but when it is this hot outside, it’s about treating yourself and staying cool! So of course, I made my way to Majesty’s Pleasure’s which is a beauty social club to get my Gel Mani/Pedi and a glass of bubbly. I also made my way for a few bites at one of my favorite placed to get my Happy Hour on at Sagaponack which makes a fun Lychee Spritz, has great oysters, hummus and I tried their Jollof crab which was super tasty. Walking back when it was a bit cooler, it was fun to catch the Senegal game for a few moments outside.
