Yesterday, I made my way to Pvolve to check out one of their latest workouts in partnership with Headspace. I have become a fan of the micro movements of this low-impact fitness method that has fans such as Jennifer Aniston. Being able to start the day off flowing through the meditation and then having the oppportunity to have a meditation was a great way to start a week off coming from a long holiday weekend (as well as watching Indiana University win the National Championship).

Of course, I had a number of appointments that took place in prep for some upcoming projects. If it’s Tuesday, I can pretty much guarantee that I will head over to Tacombi to get a bite. They have Taco Tues so for every taco you purchase, you get one for free. Their Al Pastor is always a must and I finally got to try one of their pop-up menu items which was a flavorful Barbacoa taco by Chef Emmanuel Chavez from Michelin starred Tatemo. Their lime soup is one I have been ordering ever since they brought it to the menu and today, having a Monoplio beer is super satisfying when I wasn’t in the mood for my usual mezcal!
With a few more meetings under my belt and the fact that is was 18 degrees outside, I popped in for a rare pick me up at Milk Bar with their Cereal Milk Matcha Latte (available in hot or cold)and a Confetti Cookie. I also brought home their Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie as Paul is always a fan of that.
