I do love seeing all the shows that take place through Fashion Month! NYFW FW26 was a time for sure and today at Paris Fashion Week, Lacoste showcased their FW26 collection on the runway. For those that may not be aware, I worked at Lacoste at their HQ here in NY from 2007 - 2010 as the Assistant to the Sr VP in the Wholesale department and I always love seeing the innovations that take place with this brand which is known for their signature premium sportswear for men and women with great accessories to continue their active lifestyle element to their collection! These are some of my favorite looks and with Creative Direction led by Pelagia Kolotouros, it was eye catching within their rain theme!

This season, she focused on the brand’s tech heritage which blended waterproof, functional, and protective silhouettes that have a 1980-inspired high fashion sportswear aesthetic. The runway show which was named “Washed Out Match was actually shown at Roland-Garros stadium (Philippe Chatrier). The inspiration for the show was inspired by a 1923 rain-delayed tennis match played by René Lacoste in Deauville.
