SK STREAMING | S8 E. 16-21 LOVE ISLAND USA

Aftersun is back as we catch up on what happened this week with Ciara Miller and Tefi! They delve into the dual love triangles - Triangle 1 - Kenzie, Caleb, and, Corbin as well as the 2nd one Sincere, Melanie, and Sol. They also talk about the recent death of Love Island’s Executive Producer, James Barker who died from a medical emergency while filming in Fiji.
Coming back from break we see the moments immediately following the dumping of Gabriel and Sol. They talk in the car ride to the hotel about their experience and how tough it was to navigate the Villa.
When Gabriel gets his phone back he sees a lot of his friends congratulated him on his time on the show. He looks at Bea’s profile and he is so excited to see what she is up to. He talks about how he admires her as well as how strong of an athlete she is. he also hears her livestream where she doubts whether he really liked her because of how quick he coupled up. He talks to his friend as well as his parents.
Gabriel comes to set to talk with the hosts about his experience. He talks about his relationship with Bea as well as with Jen. He shares that the bromance between Zach and Bryce has been around since day 1. He lets the hosts know that he feels the strongest couple is Aniya and KC and the one that won’t last is Corbin and Kenzie. He is surprised that Kenzie and Corbin made out in the rooms with no one knowing that it was going on.
Sol turns on the phone and is nervous to see what America thinks. Sol went from 5,000 followers to 128,000 while she was there. She had a lot of views as well as her ex who is with someone else DM’ing her. She talks with her cousin and who tells her that she is loved and has a support system. She also tells her that Michael B Jordan has been all over her pictures too! She chats with her aunt who tells her how proud of her she is.
Sol is on set looking stunning! She talks about her time in the house and how she interacted with Sincere and KC. Ciara also talks about the conversations that have been going on about Black women’s hair and how unnecessary it is.
Sol and Gabriel are on set together with the hosts and they talk about burning questions as well as Casa Amor and how that experience will be!
E17 brings us to a new week and I’m locked in for whatever is about to go down! KC and Aniyah chat and he tells her that he is in full explore mode so clearly things are not going to be well between the two of them. Zach and Kayda talk and she lets him know that she would pull Caleb for more chats - it’s another set of shakiness in a couple that we’re not surprised to see. The Islanders continue to chat with one another and a text arrives that the night’s challenge is Hearts On Fire. As they get ready for the challenge, Zach gets a text that they are going to leave the Villa and they are going to Casa Amore in their fire fighter outfits! On the women’s side they are pumping themselves up to perform for the challenge.
The guys land at Casa Amore and they are very pumped to be there. The girls go downstairs and they don’t see the guys waiting for them, but there is a large present waiting to be opened. The box opens and it’s a large TV screen that is connected to a video feed where they see the men at Casa Amore! They can see the men giddy and cheering. They are not thrilled that this is happening. They also see each of the women arrive as they introduce themselves to the men with kisses, sitting on their laps, and more. First up is Amora and she is so sizzling. Next up is Parmida who lets them know that she is not a regular cat, she is a Persian Cat! Hearing the guys’ reactions is wild - Corbin says, “he is going back with someone different,” after a few minutes seeing new people. Of course KC doubles down and says, “I guess Kenzie is out the window.” Next up is Jaiden. It’s great that Corbin gets a great opportunity to meet new people as he is the only guy that is Single. Zach then says that he thinks that he likes blondes - the guys have no idea that they are being watched! Jaiden then pulls Corbin and uses her handcuffs on him to get more time with him. Tierra comes out and in her package she says that she’s thinking about KC because she has been eyeing him. After she has been with all of the men, she pulls KC out and twerks in front of his face while he is on the ground and then makes out with her. Alannah comes out in wings and commands everyone’s attention. She asks him to take off her wings and Bryce enjoyed it. Last one to enter is Sydney who makes her presence known. Trinity calls her a dupe of her but says that she is very cute. The screen goes dark and the girl’s got a text letting them know that the guys will be at Casa Amor for the next few days and that they shouldn’t wait up.
Back at Casa the women are on the couch and each man now comes out to introduce themselves. The girls have to just stay at the Villa, fume at what they saw and heard, and wonder when they are getting men. It will be interesting to see who they get tomorrow.
E18 is going to be a doozy after the women of Casa Amor made themselves known. Corbin feels like he has seen one of the Bombshells before. Sydney chats with Zach and she says that she knows his brother and made out with him, but she also says that she likes him as well. Bryce chats with Sydney and admits in his confessional that he still thinks about Trinity from time to time but he will have to put her to the side for now. All the girls at the Villa are sleeping along. Over at Casa, they have paired up Parmida/Caleb, Sydney/Bryce, Alannah/Zach, Jaiden/Corbin, Amora/Sincere, and Tierra/KC.
Over at the Villa, the girls say that they are going to have fun and they’re not going to think about the guys. The guys wake up to their new partners. At the Villa, the girls learn that they are having a pool party and new men will be coming over. As they get ready, Ariana swings by and acknowledges that last night was interesting and they need to discuss by the fire pit. A dozen guys are on their way to the Villa. Casa is able to see the yacht coming in with the men and realize that there are more than 6 people on it. Ariana introduces the guys to the girls and reminds them that although there are 12, only 6 of them will stay.
After a full day of lounging, Ariana comes back and brings everyone back to the fire pit. Each guy gets to kiss 2 girls that have caught their eye. After those activities, the girls as a group have decided that Cory, Chay, Gal, Ronnie, Dylan, and Carl will be staying with them. Chandler, Kyle, Keith, Tre, Ryan, and Tino will be leaving the Villa.
Pairings at the Villa begin to happen and by the end of the episode, we know that Kayda/ChY and Carl/Aniyah have agreed to go to bed.
E19 continues as Casa Amore continues to unfold. Over at Casa Amor there have been a few shifts in who is sleeping with who. I’m definitely hoping that Bryce and Trinity will come back together after these experiences as they’re both very sad. Both residences are getting to know one another more and are having chats to see what makes sense in terms of who it is that they want to be with once Casa is over. They get ready for the night and once they are together, they get a text letting them know that the Temperatures Rising Challenge will take place where Casa and the Villa will go head to head. The head to head involves the partners that were originally together. The Villa won this challenge.
E20 the Islanders get an interesting piece of mail that shows images of what has been going on in Casa and the Villa which created shockwaves. These postcards have definitely created a lot of emotions. With the upcoming merge of everyone coming back, it will be interesting to see who will stay in the original couples and who will move on?
E21 we’re seeing both groups continuing to navigate what is going on around them. Both groups make breakfast for the women and continue to explore their couplings. Both groups here that the guys are coming back from Casa and now decisions need to be made.
Ariana arrives at the Villa. She has the girl stay seated at the firepit and she asks the boys to stand up. She reiterates that Casa Amor is the biggest relationship test and now that recoupling is upon them, they have to make a decision. She lets them know that the guys have been given the choice to stay in their original couples or to be with who they met in their time away. The girls will decide first and then see what the boys will do.
Jen kicks everything off as she can stay single or she can couple up. She decides that she will couple with Gal. This is the first time that Jen has been able to pairing with himself. Ariana next says that Caleb was also single and she brings him out to show who he paired with - he brings out Jaiden. He says she brought down his walls and that he feels like he can be himself. Next up is Kenzie she lets Ariana know that she is no longer interested in Corbin and that the video that showed the challenge (Caleb is shocked about the livestream component) and she now understands why those voting didn’t want her to stay with Corbin - she chooses Dylan. Will Corbin come in single leaving him vulnerable or will he couple up? He arrives with Parmida. The women boo him and chant, “tomato, tomato.” They let him know that they all saw the livestream video and Parmida tries to say that she feels confident about her pairing - they all say, they wouldn’t feel that way. They don’t have an issue with him changing up but they do feel that the way he disrespected Kenzie by saying he was tossing her out the window, that is the problem. Kayda is next - everyone that follows will be interesting to see who recouples or stays in the existing couple. She decides to stay with Zach which I find surprising. Zach comes back alone - although, it’s important to remember that Alannah was removed from the house due to resurfaced social media posts. Kayda and Zach are staying together - but how will the fallout be from the livestream? Melanie talks about how she felt disrespected by Sincere and although she likes everything that Cory did, she wants to stay with Sincere. Sincere comes into Casa solo! Honestly, I’m shocked! Up next is Trinity, she talks about how she enjoys Bryce and she couldn’t fully immerse herself into the Casa experience because she kept thinking of him. He arrives solo and they are both in yellow and you can see the love between the two of them. Both of them look so emotional and relieved! They are my favorite pair. He tells her he was crushed when he saw her picture in the photobooth and it made him nervous to come back but he is so happy now! Now it’s Aniya she agrees that she had a great time exploring with Carl as she never had the opportunity. She ultimately decides that she will be with KC even though she felt so good with Carl as she wants to continue with him. Looking at the guys’ faces from Casa, it doesn’t seem like he picked her. KC arrives with Tierra. Aniya says that she feels stupid and the women say that she shouldn’t feel that way and that he is trifling. She acknowledges the women that they were right that she shouldn’t have stayed with him. Seeing Carl going through it and feeling bad for her and looking like he will cry is heartbreaking to see. I wish she would have went with him. A dust up happens up between KC, Aniya, Tierra (TT), and Trinity. KC says when he hears TT - they are both from South Central and when he hears her, he hears his mom and sister. Although he felt there was a fit with him and Aniya it wasn’t the same. Aniya is now single and vulnerable. Ian our favorite voiceover guy lets us know that we can vote for the Casa Amora castmates that were dumped from the island.
